pap pens are used for immunohistochemical applications. the hydrophobicproperties allow the user to draw barriers on the slide, in any pattern,to confine the flow of reagents to a defined area. a minimum of valuableantiserum will be used. visible marking is light green/blue and can beremoved with xylene.
for immunohistochemistry, the pap pen should be applied after deparaffinization.
directions:
- deparaffinize tissue sections and hydrate to water.
- wipe away excess liquid around the section on the glass slide with tissue paper.
- encircle the tissue section or draw lines on both sides of the section and let dry （10-15 seconds）. soak slides in pbs.

免疫组化笔又叫pap pen，pap pen-笔、dako pen-笔、免疫组织化学pap笔、超级免疫组化笔、pap笔、super pap pen，适用于玻璃切片的各种免疫组织化学染色实验，如pap 法, abc法，免疫荧光法，冰冻切片及原位杂交技术， 可减少抗体和试剂用量，避免染色时液体流淌和扩散，提高操作速度。
应用范围：免疫组化染色、免疫荧光染色、原位杂交、特殊染色等实验。
使用方法:
先将组织切片脱蜡水化，然后用薄纸抹去在玻片上的组织边缘的液体，再用免疫组化笔在玻片上被检体周围画圈或在组织边缘上下各画一条线，干燥10-15秒，之后将玻片浸在pbs
耐热性能：试验过程中的耐热性为120摄氏度以下
